"Cut to Size" Style 

a truly custom made strap

No matter what style of guitar I play, even my Fender Jazz bass, the same length strap works for me. I never need to adjust the length of my straps. That's true for many players, but we're all so used to having straps that adjust a foot and a half that we kind of expect it. If you are like myself and don't need the adjustment range of a commercial strap, consider having  one sized specifically for you. A 'Cut to Size' strap is simple and elegant. It serves as a quiet compliment to your guitar. I typically place one strap button hole at the front end of the strap, and 2 at the back end, spaced 2" apart. That allows for just a slight adjustment, and also helps accomadate the difference of winter / summer weight clothing. The four straps pictured above were made for Schaller strap locks and not made with the traditional 'keyhole' mount.
